Job summary

Health Care Partners of South Carolina is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, verification, coding, billing, posting, AR, and collections, ensuring compliance with FQHC and payer requirements.

You will lead teams and collaborate across clinical and administrative areas to maximize reimbursement and improve the patient financial experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health center preferred.
• American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) certification or equivalent professional coding certification preferred.
• Experience managing billing, coding, accounts receivable, insurance claims, and reimbursement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all revenue cycle operations, including patient registration, insurance verification, coding, billing, payment posting, accounts receivable, and collections.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop revenue cycle staff through training, coaching, and performance management.
• Monitor KPIs such as AR, denial rates, clean claim rates, and collection performance and implement improvement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with FQHC billing requirements, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer guidelines, and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with providers and departments to promote accurate documentation, coding, and reimbursement.
• Review and resolve complex billing issues, claim denials, payer disputes, and reimbursement discrepancies.
• Oversee coding accuracy and CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 guidelines compliance.
• Prepare revenue cycle reports and metrics for CFO and leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce denials, and enhance patient financial experience.
