• Strong denial management with root-cause analysis and appeals.
• Proficiency in Medical Coding with collaboration with clinical staff.
• Experience with Managed Care contracts, reimbursement methodologies, and payer policies.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing software and EHR systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Clear communication to explain billing concepts to patients and staff.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and affirming care for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field.
• Previous leadership in revenue cycle environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle: patient registration, insurance verification, charge capture, billing, posting, and collections.
• Monitor key financial metrics, analyze trends, identify process gaps, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and finance teams to address denials, support coding accuracy, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and update revenue cycle policies; train staff; promote a patient-centered, culturally responsive billing experience.
