Qualifications

• 5+ years of medical billing and coding experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS and insurance billing processes.
• Experience with claim management, denial resolution, and revenue cycle operations.
• Proficiency with billing software, practice management systems, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the billing and coding team; coach and mentor staff.
• Oversee daily billing and coding operations, ensuring timely and accurate claims.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor KPIs: clean claim rate, denials, and days in A/R; drive improvements.
• Prepare reports and analyses for leadership.
