Qualifications

• Direct experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder settings.
• Proven leadership and operational oversight in revenue cycle management.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue cycle operations: claims submission, payment posting, AR, collections, denials management.
• Develop strategies to maximize reimbursement and reduce outstanding AR and denials.
• Monitor KPIs: denial rates, days in AR, clean claim rates, reimbursement trends, collection performance.
• Collaborate with billing, utilization review, credentialing, and operations teams to remove barriers to cash flow.
• Analyze denials and payer patterns to implement corrective actions for improved financial outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with billing regulations, payer requirements, and industry best practices.
• Prepare financial reports and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
