Job summary

North Texas Center for Rheumatology is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist for its Euless and Dallas offices. The role focuses on owning front-end collections, patient balance follow-up, accurate reconciliation, and coordination with our billing partner to ensure clean information and timely payments.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in medical revenue cycle, experience with insurance verification, payment posting, and reconciliation, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical revenue cycle experience, including patient collections and accounts receivable
• Direct experience with insurance verification/eligibility and benefits
• Experience with payment posting and reconciliation
• Proficiency with a practice management system / EHR
• Strong understanding of commercial, Medicare, and patient responsibility (copays, coinsurance, deductibles)
• Ability to evaluate a process, identify gaps, and implement improvements
• Excellent organization, follow-through, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review and improve front-office and revenue cycle procedures; identify gaps and implement improved workflows
• Own front-end collections; train front desk staff to collect copays and balances consistently
• Manage outstanding patient balances and reduce aged accounts receivable
• Oversee insurance verification to ensure accurate patient responsibility
• Oversee daily payment posting and deposit reconciliation for accurate month-end close
• Coordinate with external billing partner and monitor performance
• Track and report key metrics and flag trends to leadership
