Job summary

Community Health Alliance-Ohio is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and optimize billing, AR, and reimbursement for a growing behavioral health organization in Fairfield, OH.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and deep knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare, managed care, and commercial billing. You will collaborate with clinical, administrative, and finance teams to improve performance and ensure timely, compliant reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, accounting, finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years in healthcare revenue cycle management
• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, and commercial billing
• Experience managing accounts receivable, denials, appeals, and performance metrics
• Knowledge of HIPAA and payer compliance standards
• Proficiency with EHRs, billing platforms, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to lead teams and cross-department collaboration

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily revenue cycle operations including billing, claims submission, posting, denial management, accounts receivable and collections
• Ensure compliant billing with Medicaid, Medicare, managed care and commercial payers
• Monitor revenue cycle KPIs like denial rates, clean claim rates, AR aging and collections
• Identify barriers and implement strategies to improve financial performance
• Manage denials, appeals, underpayments and payer issues to maximize reimbursement
• Collaborate with clinical leadership on authorization and medical necessity documentation
• Oversee provider enrollment, credentialing and payer requirements
• Supervise and train billing staff; set productivity and quality standards
• Develop standardized billing procedures and internal controls
• Utilize CareLogic and other systems to optimize billing and data accuracy
• Analyze trends and prepare regular reports with recommendations
• Partner with finance and admin leadership to support goals
