Job summary

Mercy Youngstown Behavioral Health is seeking a revenue cycle leader to oversee gross charges, patient insurance, collections, and month-end close duties in the Youngstown area. This role focuses on maximizing collections, mitigating revenue cycle risks, and ensuring accurate billing across multiple systems.

Ideal candidates will have an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business and experience in accounts receivable and general accounting.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business preferred or equivalent experience.
• Accounts receivable and general accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the collection of medical services payments and reimbursements from patients, insurance carriers, and other sources of payment.
• Identify, communicate, and establish processes to mitigate risks to the revenue cycle process.
• Utilize web-based tools and resources to provide information to insurance companies.
• Use multiple information systems to review and verify patient billable charges.
• Participate in audits to capture lost charges and determine billing accuracy.
• Handle various projects and tasks as requested.
