Job summary

Impact Advisors is seeking a Billing Supervisor to oversee daily professional and facility billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely submissions in line with payer requirements and HIPAA guidelines.

You will lead 10–15 billing representatives across U.S. and nearshore locations, partner with coding and AR teams, and contribute to client outcomes while supporting month-end close and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare billing or revenue cycle experience.
• 1–2 years of healthcare billing supervisory or team lead experience.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, managed care, and government payers.
• Ability to travel occasionally to support client implementations, training, and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily billing queues to ensure timely claim generation, submission, and follow-up.
• Monitor billing productivity, claim volumes, aging reports, and service levels.
• Review billing edits, claim rejections, and front-end denials to facilitate accurate first-pass billing.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS regulations, payer requirements, and internal policies.
• Conduct quality audits of billing accuracy, documentation, and compliance.
• Collaborate with coding, patient access, AR, denials, cash posting, and compliance teams to improve revenue cycle workflows.
