Job summary

Bloom Health Centers is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Management Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our medical billing and coding department. You will oversee coding, claim submission, payment posting, AR follow-up, denials, and appeals to optimize cash flow.

The role requires a proactive leader with strong regulatory knowledge, staff coaching abilities, and collaboration with leadership to drive process improvements across the revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare administration, medical billing, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current medical coding certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years in medical billing/revenue cycle management.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of billing, coding, claims processing, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the billing department, including coding, charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, AR follow-up, collections, and reimbursement management.
• Serve as the department's primary resource for medical billing and coding processes and oversee staff.
• Review billing and claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to submission.
• Submit claims to payers and monitor claims throughout reimbursement process.
• Follow up on outstanding, denied, rejected, and underpaid claims using PM systems and payer portals.
• Prepare and submit appeals and other documentation to support reimbursement.
