You will follow schedules, review denials in Waystar and portals, and assist with month-end close while staying compliant with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of Waystar is beneficial.
• Knowledge of multiple state billing portals; ability to read remits for denial reasons.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Strong communication skills (email and phone).
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize duties.
• Understand payment conditions.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Submission of all billings
  • Paper billing submission
  • Electronic billing submissions
  • Web Portal billing submissions
• Follow billing schedule to ensure claims are billed in a timely manner
• Review and maintain all denials received via mail and Waystar
• Review and correct all rejections within 24 hours in Waystar and state web portals
• Submit claims for rebills within timely filing limits
• Communicate all denials to business managers, that cannot be reconciled by billing team/ supervisor and revenue cycle manager
• Assist with month end close as needed
• Will need to be cross trained to ensure coverage if a need arises
• Review unbilled report and units no charges report daily at least weekly and make appropriate adjustments
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least two years healthcare care billing, private insurance and/or federally funded programs preferred
• Knowledge of Waystar beneficial
• Knowledge of multiple state billing portals, experience in reading and understanding remits for denial reasons
• Comply with HIPPA regulations
• Strong/professional communication skills (email and phone)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize demands of the job duties
• Understand conditions of payment
• Strong Microsoft Excel skillsSelf-starter and ability to work independently and as part of a team
