Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Revenue Cycle Optimization Analyst at the Southlake Campus to advance informatics-driven improvements in revenue cycle performance. Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field + 4+ years of optimization/data analysis/tech workflows experience
• Employees hired before Apr 2026 may qualify with a High School Diploma + 8 years related experience including 4+ years optimization experience
• Bachelor’s degree in related field with 6+ years Informatics experience preferred
• Must obtain EPIC Proficiency/Epic Certification within 6 months of orientation

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains revenue cycle standards and best practices for technology use and process execution.
• Designs and optimizes workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, compliance, and staff productivity.
• Analyzes current workflows against desired future state to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Identifies opportunities for automation and AI to improve staff efficiency and workflow adoption.
• Monitors implementation performance and documents system changes and configurations.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, billing, and payer guidelines; promotes continuous improvement.
• Leads change management for end users and supports education efforts to drive adoption.
• Maintains knowledge of Epic best practices and revenue cycle trends to support strategic goals.
