Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Revenue Cycle Senior Analyst to support operational and technical analytics across the revenue cycle. You will partner with hospital and professional billing owners to identify root causes, develop efficient workflows, and implement technology solutions within the revenue cycle systems.

The role requires documenting policies, performing data extraction for risk and forecasting, and delivering metrics to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Expert in multiple revenue cycle operations and technical tools.
• Ability to break down KPIs, data, and recommend improvements.
• Works with low supervision to deliver high-quality results.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record software.
• Epic Resolute/Clarity certifications or equivalent within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue cycle operations and work with owners across departments to identify root causes, develop workflows, and implement technology solutions.
• Document policies, procedures, and workflows; perform historical data extraction for risk, trending, and forecasting analyses.
• Provide KPI metrics analysis and executive-level explanations and recommendations.
• Lead revenue cycle change initiatives, oversee teams, and report progress and results.
• Coach junior colleagues in data management, process improvement, and system capabilities.
