Job summary

Meta is seeking a Revenue Controllership Manager to own the governance and technical accounting foundation beneath a rapidly evolving revenue landscape spanning advertising, messaging, subscriptions, and other revenue streams.

You will partner with Finance, Product, Engineering, and Legal to set policy and advise on product structuring, driving improvements using AI and automation to enhance accuracy and scalability of controls.

Qualifications

• CPA is required with 8+ years in revenue accounting or controllership.
• Experience with ASC 606 and revenue guidance for products.
• Background in SOX and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Ability to advise on transaction structuring for accounting outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own governance framework for SOX revenue streams.
• Document technical accounting positions under ASC 606.
• Prioritize governance by risk across new products and initiatives.
• Advise on deal and product structuring for proper accounting.
• Assess system changes affecting revenue recognition and controls.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with Finance, Product, Eng.
• Present technical conclusions to leadership and stakeholders.
• Pilot AI/automation to improve controls and evidence collection.
