Mimecast North America, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to own ASC 606 globally and drive our revenue recognition transformation in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

You'll lead a small team, partner with Go-to-Market, Legal, FP&A, Product, and IT Systems, and ensure compliant, scalable revenue treatments across regions. You will advance automation and AI in core processes, maintain the revenue policy, and report on metrics like close-day, journal entries, and audit findings.

Qualificações

• CPA required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience, including at least 2 years leading and developing people.
• Deep, practical command of ASC 606 in a SaaS or subscription environment.
• Public company or large private-equity-backed experience, with strong internal controls and SOX mindset.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Advanced Excel, and the analytical instinct to interrogate data
• Exceptional communication skills with sales leaders, CFO and auditors.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the global subject matter expert on ASC 606 across regions and product lines.
• Review non-standard contracts and determine accounting treatments.
• Own SSP analyses, benefit period assessments, and material right evaluations.
• Maintain the global revenue recognition policy and provide practical guidance to the business.
• Assess revenue implications of new products and pricing models before launch.
• Direct the global revenue close including controls and variance analysis.
• Own internal controls over revenue and external audit liaison.
• Drive transformation initiatives to reduce cycle time and improve accuracy, including AI adoption.
• Serve as revenue accounting SME for NetSuite/ARM and Salesforce integration decisions.
• Partner with Sales Ops/Deal Desk on quote-to-cash architecture for auditable revenue outcomes.
• Lead the order-to-cash workstream for M&A due diligence.
