The Revenue Audit Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the revenue audit department and staff. Supervisors ensure all documents and reports are generated, completed, and reviewed according to the Code of State Regulations and company accounting procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general accounting for revenue and auditing reporting, internal controls, statistical reporting, daily distribution of non-gaming and casino performance, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and upload revenue journal entries to the general ledger for all revenues and related expenses.
- Analyze audit paperwork and reports; develop and implement efficiency improvements.
- Monitor and review daily audits across various departments including Cage, Slots, Jackpots/W-2Gs, Table Games, Poker, F&B, Gift Shop, Manual Comps/Adjustments, and Tax Submissions.
- Coach, counsel, train, and discipline staff; delegate and monitor tasks; evaluate performance.
- Coordinate office technology needs; ensure staff training on systems, policies, and procedures.
- Represent Live! Casino to external agencies, consultants, and organizations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills to Help You Succeed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Aristocrat systems (PitBOSS, Super-Playmate, BlackBart, Marketing Manager), as well as NEWave, Micros, and Kronos.
- Ability to use 10-key proficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communication across all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational, planning, and PC skills.
- Experience creating and analyzing spreadsheets and data reports.
- Team player attitude.
- Fluent in English, with effective communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
- Analytical thinking, basic math skills, and ability to interpret spreadsheets, emails, and procedures.
- Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations.
Qualifications
- One to two years of casino experience, preferably supervisory or managerial.
- Two years of experience in a Revenue Audit department.
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in an environment with alcohol and smoking.
- Must obtain and maintain licensure as required by the Virginia Gaming Control Board or other regulatory bodies.
