Mohegan Sun near Wilkes-Barre is seeking a Revenue Audit support specialist to assist with audit reviews, journal entries, and account analysis. You will help train Clerks, handle daily audits, and prepare tax reports related to casino revenue and promotions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with adding machines is a plus. Day shift with flexible hours.

• Assist Revenue Audit Clerks with questions from daily audits.
• Assist with training Revenue Audit Clerks.
• Assist with Revenue Audit Clerk duties as staffing requires.
• Prepare state tax returns relating to casino revenue and promotions.
• Prepare tax documents for casino promotions and compile supporting docs.
• Organize promotions and tournaments with related departments for accurate reporting.

Job Duties

• Assists Revenue Audit Supervisor with various assignments including audit reviews, preparation of journal entries and account analysis.
• Assist the Revenue Audit Clerks with any questions or issues that may arise from daily audits.
• Assists with the training of the Revenue Audit Clerks.
• Assists with Revenue Audit Clerk duties as necessary depending on staffing.
• Prepare State tax returns relating to slot machine revenue and table games revenue.
• Prepare tax documents related to casino promotions and compile all supporting documentation.
• Responsible for organizing slot and table game promotions and tournaments with the applicable departments to ensure accurate reporting of participants.
• Responsible for training new team members in proper preparation of daily audits.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Promotes superior guest service.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft office required.
• Adding machine proficiency required.
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
