Job summary

Spectrum is offering a paid, full-time 11-week internship for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science or Computer Science. The program runs May 26 through August 6, 2027, with mentorship, professional development, and cross-team collaboration.

Interns will join two teams, work on department and intern cohort projects (about 80% and 20%), and gain exposure to the telecommunications industry while building practical data analysis and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Must be rising junior or rising senior with expected graduation between May 2028 and May 2029.
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA in current program.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Intern will assist in identifying and quantifying meaningful opportunities to ensure revenue recognition and risk mitigation.
• Intern will work with existing databases/queries and create new data sets.
• Data is sourced from multiple platforms and we maintain an internal server.
• Intern will collaborate with both technical and functional team members to analyze opportunities.
• Intern will assist in maintaining existing reporting, update queries, and create ad hoc data sets.
• Intern will collaborate with the team to transform requirements into actionable data sets.
• Intern will become familiar with billing systems to validate data accuracy.
• Intern will assist in recurring report generation and month-end processing.
