Job summary

GI Alliance seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer for Revenue Accounting to design and implement governed transformations on Snowflake. You will build finance-ready data models, automated tests, and reconciliation datasets, bridging data engineering and finance analytics to ensure auditable, scalable outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in analytics/data engineering or related.
• Expertise in SQL and production-grade transformation logic in Snowflake or similar.
• Experience with dbt or similar ETL/transform frameworks, including tests.
• Translate complex business logic into scalable data models and pipelines.
• Knowledge of data quality, lineage, and controlled-release practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine metrics and improve reporting.
• Familiarity with Python, Git, CI/CD, and automated quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Snowflake transformation models for revenue-related use cases.
• Translate accounting requirements into scalable SQL and analytics patterns with documentation.
• Create curated datasets covering charges, payments, adjustments, refunds, and reserves.
• Implement automated data tests for completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation behavior.
• Collaborate with data engineers and finance analysts to validate logic and outputs.
• Optimize performance, lineage, and maintainability across practices.
• Support parallel runs, validation, and post-release issue resolution.
• Document transformation logic, finance definitions, and test coverage.
