Job summary

Canva is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer on the Finance Data team to own the revenue data models and pipelines behind Canva's revenue recognition. You will manage dbt models and Snowflake pipelines, ensuring reliability and auditability for monthly closes and financial reporting.

You will partner with Revenue Accounting to close cycles, translate accounting requirements into data logic, and build automated tests and controls to maintain data integrity across products and pricing changes.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume data pipelines where accuracy matters, esp. financial data.
• Ability to translate business/accounting requirements into data logic and pipelines.
• Familiarity with production-grade data software: tested, documented, version-controlled.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue data pipeline: dbt models and Snowflake pipelines for revenue recognition.
• Support month-end close with timely, reconciled revenue data.
• Design and maintain automated tests, reconciliation checks and controls.
• Lead data mapping for new products, pricing models or plan changes.
• Collaborate cross-team to improve data collection and prep processes.
