Job summary

Baseten is hiring a Revenue Analyst to scale the data foundation behind revenue and usage reporting. You will bridge Finance, Revenue Operations, and data engineering to transform pricing, contracts and product usage into trusted metrics and dashboards.

You will build canonical data models, validate chained data flows, and support the monthly close with rigorous variance analysis. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge AI product platforms and a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data analysis or revenue analytics at a high-growth B2B company.
• Advanced SQL and dbt skills with production-grade models, tests and lineage in a cloud data warehouse.
• Hands-on experience with usage-based billing or metering platforms and Stripe-like payment systems.
• Experience modeling usage-based commercial terms including minimum commitments and tiered pricing.
• Experience with Salesforce and CPQ data, including quotes, orders, amendments and renewals.
• Experience building dashboards and self-service analytics in BI tools like Sigma or Hex.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-grade dbt models and dashboards that connect Salesforce and CPQ, contracts, product usage data.
• Create canonical marts for customers, products, contract terms, subscriptions and invoices.
• Reconcile metered usage to billed revenue and investigate gaps before affecting customers or financial reporting.
• Partner with Finance and Revenue Operations to define metrics for bookings, commitments, consumption, ARR, NDR and expansion.
• Support monthly close, revenue forecasting and operating reviews with variance and trend analysis.
• Document metric logic, source ownership and exception handling.
• Add tests and version control to keep revenue data reliable as systems change.
