Job summary

Autodesk is hiring an Analytics Engineer for its Forecasting & Revenue Intelligence team within Revenue Operations. The role focuses on transforming sales, subscription, and hierarchy data into dbt models on Snowflake to support reliable forecasting and revenue intelligence.

You will build datasets, reconcile sources like Salesforce and Finance, and develop weekly forecast packs and leadership dashboards. The role emphasizes tests, monitoring, reproducibility, and clear communication with sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI development with model-building experience.
• dbt in production with tests and documentation integrated into workflow.
• Strong SQL skills with window functions and incremental models in Snowflake.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce data model including accounts and opportunities.
• Ability to explain data problems to non-technical stakeholders and reach a decision.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake joining Salesforce, subscription, billing, hierarchy and forecast data.
• Model data with a clear grain, stable keys, and definitions aligned with the metric dictionary.
• Keep historical records so published numbers reflect the original day’s state.
• Maintain mappings between accounts, territories, sellers, and sales hierarchy.
• Reconcile datasets to Salesforce and Finance, investigating differences.
• Develop datasets for weekly forecast packs, business reviews, and leadership dashboards.
• Add and maintain tests and monitoring for freshness, completeness, and accuracy.
• Translate data issues for sales and finance partners and align on solutions.
• Work in version control with code review and CI.
