Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team on a nine-month contract in St. Louis, MO. This onsite role (four days per week) focuses on revenue accounting, journal entries, and month-end close, with collaboration across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will analyze variances, support process improvements, and provide timely insights to stakeholders while maintaining strong accounting principles and compliance throughout the engagement.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of revenue accounting and financial analysis experience.
• 0
• Solid understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Leading edge Excel skills with PivotTables and lookups.
• Power Query and SQL knowledge for data analysis.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (or 10+ years finance experience with HS diploma).

Responsibilities

• Support revenue and subsidiary accounting activities, including trade revenue.
• Prepare and post journal entries, perform reconciliations, and analyze variances.
• Assist with daily, weekly, and month-end accounting processes.
• Research and explain financial variances using data from multiple sources.
• Contribute to process improvements to streamline accounting cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-department teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
