About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Accounting Analyst to support contract review, revenue recognition, billing, and month-end close activities. This role partners closely with FP&A and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting, billing integrity, and audit readiness.
• This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in corporate accounting who can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Contribute

• Review customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment
• Perform month‑end close activities related to revenue recognition
• Review variance reports and validate deferred and unbilled revenue balances
• Prepare and support revenue‑related journal entries
• Process client invoices and maintain accurate supporting documentation
• Partner with FP&A to analyze revenue and forecast variances
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve billing and account reconciliation issues
• Prepare documentation and support for internal and external audit requests
• Assist with ad hoc projects, reporting, and accounting inquiries as needed

What We’re Seeking

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Business with an emphasis in Accounting, or equivalent experience
• Experience with billing and revenue recognition (preferred)
• Experience working in a corporate accounting environment
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and cross‑functionally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Oracle or other large‑scale ERP systems preferred
• Prior experience in software, construction, or retail industries is a plus

Compensation Transparency

• This role pays a fixed rate of $35.00 per hour. All candidates submitted and hired for this role will be compensated at this rate.
