Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting, partnered with a growing technology company in Boston, seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee revenue operations, ASC 606 compliance, and month-end close. This role partners with Sales, Legal, FP&A, Billing, and Finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting, deep GAAP/ASC 606 knowledge, and SaaS or subscription experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in progressive accounting, including revenue accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience with complex contract analysis, close processes, and reconciliations.
• Analytical, organized, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel.
• CPA preferred.
• SaaS/tech or subscription-based experience preferred.

KBW has partnered with a growing technology company that is seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager to manage all areas of revenue operations. This role will be involved in ASC 606, contracts, revenue ops, month-end close support, business partnering, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes.
• Oversee revenue recognition, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Analyze contracts and transactions for appropriate revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Maintain revenue accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, FP&A, Billing, and Finance on revenue-related matters.
• Support internal and external audits and financial reporting.
