Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled Manager of Revenue Accounting to own complex revenue streams and ensure rigorous US GAAP application. You will work with Legal, Sales, FP&A, Product, and Finance to structure deals, implement processes, and optimize close timelines.

The role emphasizes deep ASC 606/842 knowledge, contract review, and desire to automate billing and reporting. Strong communication and ownership are essential in a fast-paced environment at Crusoe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 5+ years accounting experience; public accounting a plus.
• Deep US GAAP expertise, ASC 606 and ASC 842 on complex transactions.
• Strong contract review and analysis skills to identify implications.
• Proven ability to research technical topics and memo documenting.
• Experience operationalizing accounting processes and controls.
• Self-starter with ownership and initiative in ambiguous environments.
• Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication with leadership and non-finance teams.
• Advanced Excel; experience with ERP/billing systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deal ownership for complex revenue streams.
• Collaborate with Legal, Sales, FP&A, and Finance for guidance.
• Be SME on ASC 606/842 and other GAAP guidance.
• Analyze contract terms affecting accounting conclusions.
• Translate accounting assessments into billing/data flow processes.
• Lead month-end close for revenue streams.
• Support external audits with documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation.
