Job summary

FIS is seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to join our Capital Markets Accounting team. You will own the revenue accounting close for designated lines and ensure ASC 606 compliance across contracts.

The role offers visibility to senior finance leadership and opportunities to partner with Sales, Legal, Billing, and FP&A while advancing internal controls and process improvements in a fast-paced, publicly traded environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with revenue focus.
• Strong ASC 606 revenue recognition knowledge.
• Experience analyzing complex contracts and GAAP reporting.
• Proficient Excel and enterprise systems such as Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly revenue close for assigned Capital Markets businesses.
• Review income statements and balance sheets for accuracy.
• Evaluate contracts under ASC 606 and determine revenue treatments.
• Partner with Legal, Sales, Billing and FP&A on transactions.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting docs.
• Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Support audits with analyses and documentation.
• Identify process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Support acquisitions, system implementations and transformations.
