Benchling is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own key areas of revenue accounting and Order to Cash in a high-growth SaaS environment. This hands-on role focuses on deferred revenue, the end-to-end allowance process, contract modifications, and the revenue implications of AI-driven business models.

You will contribute to the revenue close with full ownership, help shape recognition for consumption-based products, and work from our San Francisco HQ reporting to the Head of Revenue

Qualifikationen

• BS/BA in Accounting with strong GAAP/GL knowledge.
• 7+ years SaaS revenue accounting with ASC 606 expertise.
• Ownership of allowance for credit losses including audit support.
• High-growth SaaS experience with subscriptions and services.
• SOX-compliant processes and automation experience.
• Proficiency with NetSuite ARM and Salesforce CPQ; strong Excel skills.
• Strong cross-functional communicator able to influence without authority.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end deferred revenue processes and related schedules.
• Manage allowance for credit losses and related memo with Sales.
• Analyze contract modifications under ASC 606 and lead memos.
• Lead AI and usage-based product initiatives with reporting.
• Own professional services revenue end-to-end and drive process improvements.
• Prepare materials and present financial results in quarterly close.
• Analyze revenue flux across streams and support monthly/quarterly closes.
• Lead special projects for new product/pricing launches and audits.
• Own designated audit areas during the annual audit.
