Job summary

Supply-chain in Arlington, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to open and verify returned merchandise, scan items, and place freight in proper locations. You will load, unload, stock, and stage product, operate basic equipment, verify packaging, and ensure scanned freight reaches its destination safely.

Observing safety and sanitation standards is essential in this fast-paced facility. Six months warehouse experience and forklift experience preferred; a material handling equipment certification

Qualifications

• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product. May require using powered equipment.
• Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
• Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
