Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking an Inventory Control Returns Specialist to manage stock, non-stock, damaged and defective returns at the Central Distribution Center. You will coordinate RGAs, maintain records, and support cycle counts while collaborating with Operations, Purchasing, and Accounting.

This on-site role at our Maryland facility offers a competitive $24/hour wage and a comprehensive benefits package designed for full-time associates.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of computer software including Word, Excel, Outlook and WMS (Eclipse).
• Ability to analyze moderately complex data.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• 3–5+ years Fulfillment/Distribution and Inventory Control experience, with 1+ year in a leadership role.
• Ability to work across different shifts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Process and coordinate the return of stock inventory at the Central Distribution Center (CDC).
• Process and coordinate the return of defective inventory.
• Manage the return of non-stock materials to manufacturers via RGAs.
• Prioritize and process daily stock returns from the service area.
• Maintain accurate records of all return transactions and supporting documentation.
• Ensure returned inventory is identified, categorized, and routed for disposition.
• Manage designated Stock, Non-Stock, Damaged, and Defective Returns areas.
• Support cycle count activities to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
• Support Outbound Freight picking and shipping.
• Assist Supervisor/Manager with the scrap wire process, including tracking and documentation.
• Perform other tasks as directed by Inventory Control Supervisor or Managers.
• Ability to operate forklift or obtain forklift certification.
