Job summary

HNTB is seeking an intern or recent graduate to support planning projects, gather and analyze data, and develop reporting and visuals. You will assist with maps, exhibits, presentations, and environmental documents through all project phases from concept to completion.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field; familiarity with GIS and Microsoft Office; strong writing and presentation skills; prior internship in planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and provides review of the data for use in projects and for further analysis.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team members with tasks such as development of maps, exhibits, presentation materials, and reporting.
• Conducts research on planning issues and develops conceptual alternatives for urban and transportation projects.
• Produces plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Assists in stakeholder and public participation processes.
• Maintains project records and files.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
