Job summary

Sedgwick, a global leader in risk and claims management, is hiring a Return-to-Work Representative in Coralville, IA. You will negotiate, facilitate and monitor return-to-work for claimants, coordinating with clients, providers and injured workers to ensure timely, compliant accommodations.

Key duties include establishing medically supported work restrictions, documenting all steps, contacting employers for job details, and supporting the transition from medical case management to placement.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years of related experience in RTW, job accommodation, or claims management.
• Knowledge of RTW procedures and claims management processes.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine objective, medically supported work restrictions.
• Facilitate RTW and accommodation via negotiation with client, provider and claimant; document accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with medical, legal and accreditation standards in communications.
• Contact employers to gather job details, required physical demands, wages, and benefits.
• Maintain regular client contact post-placement and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth transition from medical case management to job placement.
• Perform additional duties related to accommodation/RTW evaluation.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
