Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related experience or equivalent.
• 1 year of office or customer service experience required.
• 1 year of benefits or claims management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes claim determinations to approve routine disability claims or recommends denial.
• Reviews routine medical information or consults with a nurse to determine disability.
• Determines benefits due and processes timely claims payments/adjustments.
• Communicates with claimants and providers to set expectations on return to work.
