Job summary

Gallagher Bassett seeks a skilled nurse case manager to provide medical management for workers' compensation injuries. You will perform telephonic case management, coordinating evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services while communicating with physicians, employers, and injured workers.

Requirements include an active RN license and at least 3 years of acute care experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree from applicable program and a minimum of 3 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Active Registered Nursing license in state of practice or CM states.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical management to workers' compensation injured employees via telephonic case management.
• Return injured employees to pre-injury status through managed care and appropriate treatment.
• Coordinate evaluation, treatment, and counseling with medical and rehabilitation providers.
• Communicate with physicians, injured workers, employers, and referral sources.
• Identify suitable employment opportunities consistent with medical restrictions and capabilities.
