Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license active and unrestricted required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certification or progression toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manage treatment of claimants through the workers' compensation system based on diagnosis and state regulations.
• Obtain and review patient status/history to determine causal relation of symptoms to work injuries.
• Determine medical necessity/reasonableness of proposed and ongoing treatment.
• Prepare internal/external correspondence to research and resolve disputes and inquiries with providers and claims handlers.
• Present, discuss and finalize return-to-work programs with appropriate permanency ratings with medical providers.
