Gallagher Bassett is seeking a qualified nurse or medical professional to provide medical management for workers' compensation injuries in the Greenville, SC area. The role involves telephonic and in-person case management, coordinating with physicians, employers, and providers to facilitate safe return-to-work and quality care.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN or medical license, 2–4 years of experience, and the ability to travel within a roughly 2-hour radius.

Qualifications

• Nursing or medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Able to travel within approximately a 2 hour radius.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating medical evaluation and treatment
• Meeting with physician and injured worker to discuss return-to-work goals
• Keeping employer updated on medical treatment and work status
• Coordinating ancillary services (home health, durable medical equipment, physical therapy) and discussing job requirements with employers
• Discusses and evaluates treatment results with physician and injured worker using evidence-based guidelines
• Documents case management observations, assessments, and plans
• Generates reports and ongoing correspondence to referral source and employer
• May participate in telephonic case conferences
• Maintains minimum caseload of 35 files and 150 monthly billable hours with 95% quality compliance
