Job summary

Berkley Medical Management Solutions (BMMS) is hiring a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager to coordinate medical case management and facilitate timely return-to-work for injured workers in the United States. The role involves close communication with employers, adjusters, and clinicians while ensuring cost-effective care.

Applicants must hold an RN license, with CCM certification preferred; Bachelor of Nursing is desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and professionalism.
• Fluency in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical case management to facilitate case closure.
• Timely and comprehensive communication with employers, adjusters and injured workers.
• Assess utilization of medical treatment to ensure cost-effective quality care.
• Review medical records and data to guide case progress toward closure.
• Manage assigned caseloads across states with licensure compliance.
• Coordinate home services, DME, IMEs, admissions, discharges, and vocational services.
• Document activities and progress using standard QA tools.
• Engage in job analyses with providers to facilitate return to work.
• Participate in special projects and occasional on-site meetings.
• Foster a teamwork environment and continuous improvement.
• Update evidence-based medical guidelines in reference to treatment plans.
• Maintain applicable state certifications/licensure; CCM within 2 years.
• Pursue Continuing Education Units to maintain licensure.
