Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. is hiring for a 2nd shift Delivery Preparation associate in The Colony, TX. You will assemble and inspect merchandise to ensure it is ready for delivery, working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The role emphasizes safety, precise assembly, and thorough inspection to ensure products meet customer expectations. Weekend availability and the ability to lift and use basic hand tools are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• 6 months’ labor or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per department.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle products to prevent damage.
• Use basic hand tools and mechanical aids as needed.
• Assemble and inspect product to ensure it meets standards.
• Ensure the product looks and works as intended for home delivery.

Pay Range: $18.58 - 23.13 Hourly

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Safety First Handling products so you are safe and the product is damage free
• Work Smarter, Not Harder Safely use mechanical aids (flats, dollys, box cutters, power tools, etc.)
• Set the Stage Assemble product using hand tools and detailed instructions
• Make it Flawless Inspect your work to ensure the product looks and works like it was custom made to fit in the home
