Position: Retrofit Technician

As a Retrofit Technician, you will perform repairs and corrections to prepare vehicles for sale, following engineering directives. Additional diagnostics and repairs may also be required.

Salary Overview: Starting at $20 per hour, based on experience.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 6 am to 3 pm.

• Perform basic to moderate automotive repairs.
• Remove and install vehicle parts.
• Diagnose vehicle issues.
• Program vehicle modules using computer systems.
• Address unspecified vehicle problems with appropriate procedures.
• Align with Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and support the company mission.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Own a cell phone for communication.
• Basic understanding of vehicle computer programming.
• Own basic hand and power tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.).
• Experience with battery chargers and maintainers.
• Experience with special equipment (hoist, jacks, cherry pickers).
• Proper handling of vehicle fluids.
