Job summary

Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers is hiring an entry-level Automotive Technician to join our retread team. Training is provided to develop required skills.

You will inspect tires for retread eligibility, buff casings, repair as needed, apply new tread, cure the tire, and perform final quality checks.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread eligibility.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the casing.
• Repair the casing with rubber cement or patch before new tread.
• Build the tire by applying new tread.
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application.
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality.
