Goodyear Salisbury is seeking a Retread Technician to join our tire retread team in North Carolina. You will participate in the life-extending retread process from inspection to final quality check, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills as part of daily tasks.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/general labor/entry level is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread eligibility.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the casing.
• Apply new tread using rubber cement or patches.
• Build tire by applying new tread.
• Cure the tire to set the retread application.
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality.
