The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring for a Retread Technician to join our on-site team in the United States. The role focuses on extending tire life through recapping, remolding, and reworking tires to meet safety standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to determine retread viability.
• Buff casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair casing.
• Repair casing with rubber cement or patch before applying new tread.
• Assemble tire by applying new tread.
• Cure the tire to set retread application.
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality.
