Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Retread Technician to participate in the retread process, extending tire life from recapping to final inspection. You will work in retread plants to support stages from inspection to curing and final assessment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread suitability.
• Buff casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair tire casing.
• Use rubber cement or patches to repair casings.
• Apply new tread and build the tire.
• Cure the tire and perform final inspection for quality.
