Job summary

QVC Group is seeking a part-time Retouching Artist to collaborate with the Retouching Artist team, ensuring image content meets QVC & HSN brand standards in aesthetics, lighting, color balance, and model retouching. The role involves reviewing images, applying corrections, and coordinating with the team to meet deadlines for multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of experience with Adobe Photoshop and Bridge, strong knowledge of image processing concepts, and a keen eye for color

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional experience and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Bridge.
• Experience with image processing concepts such as cropping, aspect ratio, pixel dimensions, DPI, and color space.
• An eye for retouching concepts such as color correction and dust removal to produce finalized images.
• Photoshop tools including color and contrast adjustments, clone stamp, spot healing brush, and crop tool.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Retouching Artist team to ensure content meets brand standards for aesthetics and accuracy.

• Partner with team when standards are outside predefined guidelines for vendor images.

Where You’ll Work

We are only able to consider you for this remote role if you live in PA, NJ, or DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

You will be on-call (part-time) and you will typically work 2-3 days per week, based on business need. The hours will fall between 8am and 7pm, and we are able to offer some flexibility.

What You’ll Do

You will collaborate with your fellow Retouching Artist team and management to ensure content meets QVC & HSN brand standards for qualities such as aesthetic, lighting, contrast, color balance, model retouching, and accuracy.

You will assess images for any additional retouching needs and act on your findings.

When situations arise that are outside of the predefined standards for QVC or HSN vendor images, you will partner with your team, to determine the best course forward.

You will assist the Retouching Artist 2 team with administrative responsibilities and file organization to ensure the daily success of the team.

You will work with medium and high volumes of images to support the business in creating engaging content.

You may need to work under tight deadlines to deliver customer ready content to all platforms ahead of launches.

What You’ll Bring
