Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. is seeking a Scenic Stylist to support scenic and set styling for live shows across QVC and HSN brands. This onsite role in West Chester, PA requires dressing sets, selecting props, and ensuring air-worthiness of layouts for air time.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in product or set styling and a background in interior design or related fields. The position offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and collaboration with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in product styling or set styling.
• Experience in TV, broadcast, or theater is valued but not required.
• Strong aesthetics sense and knowledge of current design trends.

Responsibilities

• Style sets to support product sells, branding, and QVC image; manage props and styling needs for shows.
• Interpret design direction from Scenic Design Partners and select appropriate furnishings and styling.
• Develop the overall set style for shows to reflect the brand/product line.
• Explore new styling concepts to maximize sales and visual impact.
• Collaborate with TV Production, Broadcast Operations and Vendors to support live shows.

As a Scenic Stylist, you will support QVC and HSN, and will be responsible for scenic and set styling, and product display needs.

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our West Chester, PA headquarters daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. Candidates need to have open availability to work any shift, any day of the week, to be considered.

What You'll Do

• Ensure that all sets are styled to support product sells, branding, and proper QVC image. This includes: requisition of props and styling needs for shows, making sure sets are air-worthy and giving sets a final review before going on air.
• Interpret design direction from Scenic Design Partners, choosing appropriate props, furniture and styling needs for live show.
• Develop overall set style of shows turning empty sets into environments appropriate to the brand/product line.
• Explore new ways of styling product and set that present the product in the best possible way to help maximize sales.
• Collaborate with TV Production, Broadcast Operations and Vendors to support the live show and handle any last-minute scheduling changes.

What You'll Bring

• Experience: 2+ years experience in product styling or set styling
• Previous TV, broadcast, or theater experience valued but not required.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Design, Broadcasting, or a directly related art field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience required.
• Working knowledge and talent with aesthetics, like style trends, interior design elements, current fashion looks, visual merchandising, and floral display.
• Ability to differentiate between colors and textures
• Comfort working on elevated surfaces (i.e., lighting rafters) #LI-CV1
