Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Financial Services Representative to process retirement distribution transactions and ensure compliance with plan and regulatory requirements. You will use multiple systems to manage workflows, verify data, and communicate with participants and plan sponsors.

The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of insurance and financial services, and the ability to work in a hybrid Columbus or Scottsdale office with specific in-office days.

Qualifications

• Education: High school studies; undergraduate studies desirable.
• License/Certification/Designation: FINRA Series 6 license preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of product-related customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Office practices, customer service, information systems, and insurance/financial services practices.
• Skills: Verbal and written communication; problem solving; teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Processes retirement distribution requests, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Provides quality customer service by addressing needs and ensuring timely responses.
• Maintains knowledge of contracts, Nationwide products, and related regulations.
• Applies lean methodology through daily problem solving and team huddles.
• Interprets contract provisions for current and past products for policyholders and brokers.
