Job summary

Empower seeks a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to provide retirement and financial wellness guidance within employer-sponsored plans. You will guide participants through managed accounts, educate on plan options, and deepen relationships with proactive, personalized engagements in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2+ years in financial services, strong sales ability, FINRA registrations, and proficiency with Windows and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• FINRA 7 & 66 registrations (or 63 & 65) required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and respond to a variety of plan and policy-related questions.
• Relay accurate information and provide clear communication of policies and procedures.
• Retain assets through education and guidance of plan options.
• Educate customers on distribution decisions and tax implications.
• Deliver optimal solutions in every interaction.
• Collaborate with peers to problem solve and deliver results.
• Use innovative tools and services to find best retirement-planning options.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
