Job summary

Empower Careers is seeking a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to deliver retirement and financial wellness guidance within employer-sponsored plans. You will guide participants through decisions, manage accounts, and engage proactively to support overall financial wellbeing.

Qualified candidates bring a track record in financial services, strong planning acumen, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory environments.
• Demonstrated success in sales.
• Good understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products/services and the qualified retirement plan environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities under pressure.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to quickly learn Empower's record keeping system and Salesforce.
• FINRA 7 & 66 registrations required (or 63 & 65).
• FINRA fingerprinting upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships by delivering personalized service and respond to plan and policy questions.
• Relay accurate information and clearly communicate policies and procedures.
• Retain assets through education and guidance of plan options.
• Educate customers on distribution decisions and tax implications of retirement options.
• Deliver optimal solutions to customers in every interaction.
• Collaborate with peers to problem solve and deliver results.
• Use tools to identify best retirement-planning options for customers.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
