Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Retirement Plan Coordinator to manage a book of business and provide day-to-day service for American Funds bundled plans, acting as the main contact for financial professionals and plan sponsors.

You will resolve issues, analyze plan health for design changes, coach professionals through changes, and ensure timely delivery of testing results; a strong background in retirement plans and client communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of in-depth retirement plan market knowledge, including retirement plan design, terminology, regulations and procedures and know how to apply it to work assignments.
• You enjoy staying informed of the company's products and services, policies and procedures and applicable regulations and legal requirements.
• You will resolve complex inquiries related to our plans by utilizing resources to understand business and regulatory requirements.
• You demonstrate initiative to identify issues, recommend solutions and make sound judgment in resolving matters of complexity.
• You enjoy collaborating and maintaining relationships, both internally and externally, and pride yourself on your strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business and provide day-to-day service for American Funds bundled plans, acting as the main point of contact for financial professionals and plan sponsors.
• Research and resolve issues to coordinate timely solutions and consider plan design changes by analyzing plan health.
• Coach and consult financial professionals through change processes, including updated testing results and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of testing results and maintain strong client relationships across internal and external partners.
