Job summary

MAP Retirement USA LLC is seeking a Plan Consultant to administer and support employer-sponsored retirement plans, ensuring compliance with IRS, DOL and ERISA regulations. Training will build expertise in plan testing, contribution calculations, and government filings.

Responsibilities include maintaining an assigned book of plans, preparing valuations and testing, assisting sponsors with terminations, and supporting actuaries and consultants.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years in defined benefit and defined contribution administration.
• In-depth knowledge of IRS, DOL and ERISA regulations.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an assigned book of plans including DB and DC plans.
• Prepare valuations and compliance testing as applicable.
• Calculate plan contributions to optimize tax savings and pass tests.
• Prepare government filings (Forms 5500, 5330, Schedule SB).
• Analyze plan documents and recommend changes for clients.
• Assist sponsors with plan termination processes.
• Provide communications with sponsors, advisors and accountants.
• Prepare distribution benefit calculations and PBGC filings/notices.
