Job summary

Cetera Retirement Plan Specialists (TPA) seeks a Retirement Plan Consultant to deliver superior client service and tackle complex Defined Contribution plan administration. You will manage a client caseload, perform compliance testing, and collaborate with advisors to resolve plan issues for ongoing success.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and proactive communication to support sponsors and participants.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of Defined Contribution Plan Administration experience within a TPA.
  • Cash Balance/Defined Benefit Plan Administration experience not required but is a plus.
  • Review and perform compliance work related to cross-testing and ADP/ACP testing for DC plans
  • Calculation of profit-sharing contributions using new comparability allocation methods
  • Strong organizational skills, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain responsibility of client caseload management. Primary contact for assigned caseload.
  • Deliver testing results and year end packages to clients. Make sure any compliance corrections are completed timely and 5500s are signed and filed timely.
  • Track data received/not received from clients and follow up accordingly
  • Consult with clients, advisors and other parties on plan related issues to develop long-term relationships.
  • Work with clients, advisors and other internal teams to resolve compliance issues and answer questions as they come up.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $83,000-$110,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Salary range may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
